The Zorzi is an atypical contemporary style apartment located only few steps from Piazza San Marco in a quiet private alley.
It features nice canal view from the tall windows of the master bedroom and the library.
Its position close to the most important shops, restaurants and supermarket makes things easier especially for travellers with busy schedule. It is found at the first floor of a beautiful historic building with an easy to climb stairway, therefore easily accessible also for the less athletic ones. The best way to reach this apartment is by far with private water taxi, that will drop you off next to the entrance, otherwise in about 3 minutes’ walk from the Vaporetto stop San Marco.
Beside the world-famous landmarks such as Saint Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace, some of the less known but spectacular tourist attractions in the vicinity are the nearby Miracoli Church, San Giovanni e Paolo Church (perfect for a coffee on the stunning square), and Campo Santa Maria Formosa with its prestigious historic palaces. The surroundings are an infinite source of inspiration, on every bridge or “fondamenta” the view is truly Venetian.
As you walk in, you will immediately understand that this is a real house, not an impersonal tourist accommodation. A spacious, bright and cosy living room perfectly blends contemporary style furniture with antique wooden beams, Venetian Terrazzo flooring and a decorative antique marble fireplace. The living room is the heart of the house: on one end there is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom plus its studio/library room, on the other end there is a large bedroom with two carved wooden beds that can be also used as king size if you prefer, while right behind the sitting area you can find the spacious and bright kitchen. It features a nice Carrara Marble table for up to 5 people and designer chairs, brand new electrical appliances, large fridge and freezer, 4 gas stoves, etc.
The owner furnished the Zorzi apartment with minimalist designer pieces, wisely blending materials such as metal, marble, wood, Murano glass and nice textiles, while tastefully selecting the colour palette. The result is remarkable: this apartment is both contemporary and welcoming. The amenities of this apartment include Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning.
The living area is connected to the master bedroom though a corridor along which you can find the main bathroom with shower. At the end of the corridor there is a walk-through room used as library or office that leads to the large master bedroom. These two rooms can be both closed with sliding doors, in order to guarantee full privacy in case the sofa-bed of the library is used by the 5th guest. The library has been designed by the owner and is made of steel, perfectly matching the minimalist design concept. The en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom is also very spacious, with bathtub and laundry facilities (washing machine and drying racks).
We suggest the Zorzi apartment to adult couples or families with responsible children, be it for week-end escapes or long-term stays, as it is structured for residential use and conceived to satisfy also the most demanding person.

About the area
Venice, Italy, is a city that enchants its visitors with its distinctive blend of history, artistry, and romance. The city is uniquely constructed on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Instead of roads and cars, Venice is characterized by its waterways and gondolas, offering a truly unique urban experience.
St. Mark's Square stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is home to St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The basilica boasts stunning Byzantine mosaics while the palace showcases Gothic architecture and grand rooms adorned with art - both are symbols of Venice's rich historical heritage.
The Grand Canal is another must-visit attraction in Venice. A gondola ride along this major waterway provides breathtaking views of beautiful palaces and historic buildings lining its banks. For those passionate about art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection offers an impressive collection of modern art from renowned artists like Picasso and Pollock.
Venice takes pride in its glassmaking industry located on the island of Murano where visitors can witness artisans crafting intricate glass pieces using age-old techniques.
The city also hosts several globally recognized events such as the Venice Biennale art exhibition and the Venice Film Festival which draw artists and celebrities worldwide.
For gastronomes, Venetian cuisine offers fresh seafood from the lagoon and traditional dishes like risotto nero (black risotto) made with cuttlefish ink.
In summary, Venice presents an irresistible mix of history, culture, artistic talent, gastronomy, and romance that makes it an ideal destination for any traveler.
