Cozy and modern flat 80sqm with all the comfort, convenient for its position in the city center of Turin, very close to the main points of interest of the city as the Egyptian Museum, only 500m away, Piazza Solferino (400m), and Giardini Reali, only 15 minutes walk. The flat is also 15 minutes away from Torino Porta Nuova Station, and it’s surrounded by Italian and ethnic restaurants, bars, shops and pharmacies.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with elevator that stops at the 3rd floor. From here, you can reach the flat on the 4th floor by a staircase.
The interior space is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with sofa bed, TV and dining area;
- KITCHEN CORNER with induction hob, fridge, freezer, traditional kettle, mocha, electric oven, microwave, toaster, juicer, cutlery and kitchenware;
- BEDROOM 1 with a queen bed and coat hanger;
- BEDROOM 2 with two single beds that you can bring together to make a queen bed;
-BATHROOM with wc, bidet, two sinks and walk in shower;
- STORAGE ROOM;
- TWO BALCONIES (1,50sqm)
- SERVICES: free WiFi, independent heating, AC, dishwasher, washing machine, drying rack, iron, ironing board, high chair and camping cot.
Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee).
N.B. In the case of long stays (over 30 days) the linen will be collected every maximum 15 days by the cleaning company.
Once collected, the guest can choose:
- to use their own;
- the replacement: in this case there is a cost of €15 for a queen set and €8 for each additional set.
At the check-in we will need to record the data of each guest, as required by Italian law, and you will therefore be required to show a valid document.
The keys will be collected in our office in Corso Inghilterra 39 in Turin, from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 23.00. It will be possible to enter the apartment after 15:00.
It will be possible to leave your luggage in the office, collect the keys and access the apartment once cleaning is finished, by 3.00 pm. We will provide you with further instructions one week before check in.
For those who take advantage of the self check-in, we will offer a welcome welcome kit.
The apartment is located in the historic center of Turin: elegant, lively, full of restaurants, wine bars, small shops, old cafes. A lively, cheerful, safe neighborhood: a convenient starting point for visiting the most important museums of the city. Just a 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and the art gallery, the MAO (Museum of Oriental Art) and the Museo della Sindone. A 15-minute walk from the Museo del Cinema (Mole Antonelliana) and 5 minutes from the Egyptian Museum and from Piazza Castello (with the Palazzo Reale, the Galleria Sabauda, Palazzo Madama). In Piazza della Consolata there is the historic café "Al Bicerin", where the famous coffee with chocolate and cream was invented, the symbolic drink of Turin.
A must is a tour of the noisy and colorful food market of Porta Palazzo (every morning and Saturday all day), and of Balon, the city’s historic flea market, the "rags market" (since 1856, every Saturday, in the streets that go from Piazza della Repubblica down to the Dora). In the same streets, the second Sunday of each month then, from 8 to sunset, 250 stalls, shops, bars and restaurants give life to the Gran Balon, for 28 years the minor antiques market.
If you arrive by PLANE: in front of the arrivals of the Caselle airport, the SADEM shuttle leaves every 15 minutes and stops at the Porta Nuova FS station (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II No. 57 / A) and Porta Susa FS (Corso Bolzano) exit D station). Duration: 45/50 min. You can buy the ticket at the airport for € 6.50, it costs € 7 on board.
If you arrive by TRAIN from the Porta Nuova station you can take a taxi or you can take the bus (buy the ticket at the tobacconist’s, inside the station): eg. the nr. 52 to the PORTA NUOVA stop in front of the station exit and then get off at the GARIBALDI stop (11 minutes + a very short walk up to the house).
From the Porta Susa railway station, take the BOLZANO-CAPOLINEA bus stop, then take the star2 electric bus to Cairoli and get off at the MONTE DI PIETA’ ORFANE stop (14 min.), it’s less than 200m away from the apartment.
If you arrive by CAR: parking on the street in Turin is free during the night (from 7:30 pm to 8:00 am), but from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm it costs from € 1,20 to € 2,50 per night. Now! There are many underground parking lots nearby, even with fairly low daily or weekly rates: the nearest is in Piazza Emanuele Filiberto (12 minutes walk, daily rate 12 €), another cheaper is the Porta Palazzo parking lot (Corso XI February, 10 minutes on foot, 10 € daily rate). Others: Via Bolzano (in front of Porta Susa, daily rate € 9.80) or Santo Stefano or Cittadella.
