West Cliff:
A popular walk from Natural Bridges State Park all the way to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (3-4 miles). West Cliff runs along the ocean the whole way, and is pedestrian and bike-friendly with beautiful views of the Monterey Bay. There are occasional visits by whales and you’ll frequently see dolphins, sea otters, seals, and many sea birds.
Walk out the front door, turn right, at the end of the block you can cross the street and take a big step down to the path on West Cliff. Or for a gentler access to the path, turn right at the end of the block and there is a cross walk to cross to the seaward side and of the West Cliff path.
Natural Bridges State Park:
An extremely popular destination featuring a large sandy beach, tide pools, and a famous natural rock arch. Once called a natural bridge due to a past connection to the upper parking lot which the sea claimed over a decade ago. Low tide offers amazing tide pool viewing and additional hidden beaches for explorers. You can also explore inland and see the butterflies amongst the pine and eucalyptus groves.
Walk out the front door, turn right, at the end of the block turn right. Continue about 100 yards to the end of the block. Directly ahead of you will be the entrance to Natural Bridges State Park.
Guests have access to the entire home.
