This is a newly built villa situated in the outskirts of Sellia village, just a few kilometers from Souda Bay and Plakias famous tourist resorts where all amenities can be found and magnificent sandy beaches. In a distance of some 200 meters away there are a couple of taverns as well as supermarkets while the beaches of Souda bay and Plakias some 7 minutes drive down the hill.
The villa has a size of 80 sqm and consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with twin beds that can be turned to a double-bed and an en-suite large shower/WC. An external staircase leads on the upper floor where there is a second bedroom, a spacious shower/WC and a beautiful open plan living-dining area connected to a fully equipped modern kitchen. In this level, there are large French windows leading to a spacious veranda with patio furniture and marvelous views to the Libyan sea and the surrounding area. There is a 25sqm private swimming pool and attached kids pool with a shaded area (pergola) where there are a barbeque and outdoor furniture to enjoy your breakfast lunch or dinner. The villa is fully air-conditioned and offers Free WiFi and Satelite TV and it has its own parking area.
Plakias is a coastal settlement at the southern Crete, 40 km south of Rethymno, with 237 permanent residents, built at the cove of the bay of the same name on a wonderful sandy beach, 1300 m long, between the capes Stavros and Kako Mouri, that is ideal for swimming and sea sports. Plakias belong to the municipalities of Selia (the western part) and Mirthios (the eastern part) a couple of picturesque villages located not far from Plakias.
The first mention of Plakias was in the census of 1961 when only 6 fishermen were its permanent inhabitants. The natural beauty of the place helped Plakias to become a renowned tourist resort now providing all the facilities that a visitor could wish. Large hotels, youth hostel, small traditional style apartments, camping sites, taverns, restaurants, bars, everything to make the visitors’ stay comfortable and unforgettable.
