Welcome to Barbuda House, a beautifully renovated historic Charleston home dating back to the 1880s. This unique property blends timeless Southern charm with modern luxury, offering a memorable stay in the heart of downtown. Enter through the private front porch into a bright, open kitchen and dining space filled with color and character. The dining table seats four and sits beside a 60” flat-screen TV with popular streaming apps, perfect for meals, conversation, or a relaxed night in. Upstairs, the main living area features original exposed beams, a decorative fireplace, comfortable group seating, and another 60” TV, an inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the city. The home offers four thoughtfully designed ensuite bedrooms, each with its own bold style inspired by Charleston’s vibrant aesthetic. Downstairs, the front bedroom includes a king bed and a private bath with a walk-in tiled shower, while the rear bedroom features a queen bed, striking wallpaper, and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you’ll find an additional king ensuite and a queen ensuite, both with spacious walk-in showers. Each bedroom is tucked into its own corner of the home, providing privacy and comfort for all guests. Enjoy Charleston living from both the first and second-floor piazzas, ideal for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or simply soaking in the neighborhood atmosphere along Spring Street. A private three-car driveway reserved exclusively for guests makes arrivals and departures easy and stress-free, completing a seamless and comfortable stay. Permit Number: OP2025-06409 *Pet fee: Our home is pet friendly. We have a $200 per pet fee. We limit to 2 dogs in the home and we have a very strict no cat policy. Only dogs are allowed at the home. Please be sure to add the dog to your guest count when booking and reach out for permission to bring the second dog before booking.  *We provide starting supply for coffee, toiletries, trash bags, tide pods, and dishwasher pods. There is a nearby convenience store if you need to pick up more during your stay. *If the property includes a washer and dryer, we kindly ask that you use them to refresh your towels during your stay. While you don’t need to wash towels or linens at checkout, please note that we have a limited supply and may not be able to provide extras unless the home lacks a laundry room. *Crib and high chair available through a third party as an optional add-on and must be ordered 48 hours in advance in order to guarantee it is in the home prior to guest arrival.
