The beach is mere steps from your home. Less than a mile up the beach, you’ll find a popular spot for surfers known as ’The Washout.’ Visit Shaka Surf School, one mile away, for today’s lesson, or enjoy watching locals catch some of the best waves in South Carolina. Hop in the car and head to Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve, just two and a half miles away. For a small donation, you can walk or bike through the preserve to enjoy views of the Morris Island Lighthouse. Local shops, dining, and the pier are just a short drive from your front door.
