ーOsaka’s Heartbeat in Japan
Japan’s second largest city, Osaka, is home to the vibrant and iconic district of Dotonbori — a must-see destination that captures the lively spirit of the city. Famous for its neon lights, colorful billboards such as the legendary Glico Running Man, and bustling canal-side atmosphere, Dotonbori perfectly embodies the energy and charm of Osaka.
Here, you can stroll along the river, enjoy endless street food like takoyaki (octopus balls) and okonomiyaki (savory pancakes), and immerse yourself in a nightlife that never seems to sleep. The district offers everything from traditional theaters and comedy shows to stylish cafés and modern restaurants, making it the perfect place to experience both the classic and contemporary sides of Japan.
Whether you’re taking photos by the glowing signboards, hopping on a river cruise, or simply enjoying the flavors of Osaka’s world-famous cuisine, Dotonbori will leave you with unforgettable memories. It’s more than just a sightseeing spot — it’s the beating heart of Osaka.
