Gascoigne Park is a hidden gem, located on the Frederica River with a dock for public fishing, covered pavilion, grills and fitness trails. The Villas at Gascoigne is nestled amongst the live oaks near the entry of the island for easy on and off access to the mainland. Our home is being offered either for a short time (5-night minimum) or a long-term stay (monthly). FLETC per diem is considered. There are two community pools. Grills are located in the common area. THE SPACE Located on the 3rd floor over looking the tree tops & steeple of the chapel at Epworth. Access 3rd floor by elevator or steps. Upon entry, to the right is a guest bedroom with Queen size bed. To the left is a shared bathroom with a tub/shower, single vanity and adjoins to the 2nd guest bedroom. 2nd guest bedroom can also be accessed by the hall a few steps further past the hall bathroom. Down the hall you will enter an open space with the kitchen on the left, family room and dining room. Off the dining room you can access the covered porch overlooking the tree tops of Epworth and the chapel’s steeple. Off the dining room is the master bedroom with a king size bed, adjoining is a walk-in closet, double vanity sink, and an oversize shower. Linens and bath towels are provided. Kitchen has a single serve coffee maker, fully stocked dishes, glasses, wine glass, flatware, pots & pans. Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby Property Manager, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you’ll find the St. Simons Property Manager and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater. Come and enjoy complete seclusion in our lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath home located in the established St. Clair neighborhood on Saint Simons Island. You’ll see when you arrive why we call it "Privacy Please". Once you start down the private driveway, you will feel like you are in a world of your own. You have complete privacy from the street and neighbors. As you enter this beautiful home, you are immediately welcomed to a super-comfortable and nicely furnished open living room. The tv in the living room is a Smart TV. The flow of the living area extends to the dining room and kitchen space! Plenty of seating at the dining table for a family gathering. For quick bites or breakfast, there are a couple of bar stools for convenience. Just off the well-stocked kitchen, you will find a sweet cocktail bar area. You will enjoy taking the cocktails out on the large screened porch complete with a large table and plenty of chairs. Also located on the main living level are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and a TV with a Firestick and the Xfinity App. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is one shared bathroom in the hall with a nice walk-in shower and a door leading to the back yard and pool. The laundry room is also located on the main living level with outside access. The second level of the home also has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed and a TV with a Firestick and the Xfinity App. Just off the king bedroom there is a private office space which includes an additional monitor for those who need to work remotely and an extra large closet. The second upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds with the ability to be converted into 4 twin beds. A perfect room for all the kids to enjoy! In addition, the second level has a shared bathroom in the hallway between the 2 bedrooms with a large walk in shower and double vanity. Outside is where the magic continues. Enjoy the long summer days in your own very private pool. If you start at the beach then head to the pool, you will find the hot and cold outdoor shower a blessing! When the nights get cooler, unwind with family around the fire pit or enjoy outdoor cooking on the gas grill. There’s also a cornhole set for you to enjoy! We even have a Bluetooth speaker (which must be kept in a covered area of porch or indoors). For those rainy days, there is a selection of books and puzzles for your enjoyment! Wolfe Cottage is an elegant 4-bedroom beach house with gorgeous ocean views, a relaxing private pool, billiards room, and plenty of space for you and your family to relax and enjoy each other on your trip to St. Simons. Few homes on the Island have views like Wolfe Cottage - with ocean views from the living room, patio, master suite, and master patio you can watch the Atlantic Ocean, Gould’s Inlet, and Sea Island beyond. The house has an open floor plan with plenty of spaces to share or spread out - starting your day with coffee on the master patio and enjoying the ocean views. Then after a morning walk on the beach and a lunch on the covered patio directly off the chef’s kitchen, enjoy the pool in the afternoon and the billiards room in the evening. We have a large family room and 3 patios to choose from for evening relaxing and conversation. THE SPACE Bedrooms are configured as follows: Primary Suite: King bed, ocean views, private patio with it’s own ocean views, HDTV, and a master bathroom en suite with his & hers vanities and a separate garden tub and shower on the top floor. Queen Room 1: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the main floor. Queen Room 2: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the top floor. Twin Room: 2 twin beds, attached bathroom on the top floor. There is also a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2 in the living room. The home also features an elevator that serves all levels. Note, the pool can be heated for an additional fuel fee of $75/day - just let us know if you’d like the pool heated. If you enjoy the finer features of an upscale home, and are looking for beach views, easy beach access, and a pool, you’ve found it - Wolfe Cottage. Why Stay on East Beach: The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould’s Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum. MORE INFO Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $200 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can’t host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as ’vicious’, please ask if you’re not sure. Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you’d like to heat the pool! Elevator: This property offers an elevator. As a residential elevator it is not guaranteed to be ADA compliant. No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general. Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups.We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
