You can walk to Gondola One and the Village in just three minutes. You’ll access the residence via two sets of stairs bringing you to the third floor of the building. Upon entry, there’s a mud room for ski boots and outdoor clothing. Then everything opens up into the great room awash in natural light from the two-story windows framing Vail Mountain and directly facing Riva Bahn run. A wood-burning fireplace completes the mood for relaxing après evenings. And the chef in the group can still join in the festivities while preparing meals in the well-stocked and beautifully appointed kitchen. The island has four seats and the adjacent dining table seats six. The deck off the great room has a gas grill. At the end of a long day on the slopes or hiking trails, three cozy bedrooms await. In the primary king suite, enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace that is open to both the bedroom and the bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower. The third ensuite bedroom has a split king that can be set up as two twins. For guests’ convenience, the residence has a washer and dryer and portable air conditioning units in the primary bedroom and great room during the summer months. There is a private ski locker adjacent to the residence and an outside parking spot for one vehicle. SKI / VILLAGE ACCESS You can walk directly into the Village and Gondola One from Chalet Schuss in approximately three minutes.
