Full of classic mid-century design and all the comforts of 21st-century living, this three-bedroom property offers a wonderful home base for a family or a group of friends near the heart of Palm Springs. Designed by Donald Wexler AIA in an iconic butterfly-roof design, this home was thoughtfully remodeled in 2012 and now offers an updated air conditioning system, dual-paned windows and sliders, and a new 50-foot swimming pool with a shallow tanning ledge, a fountain, umbrella holes, and an attached spa. The south-facing backyard is punctuated by citrus and palm trees, a gas barbecue, and comfortable seating for admiring the view of Mt. San Jacinto. Each evening, you can retire to the living room and the warming gas fireplace to stream Netflix and Hulu on the 48-inch Smart TV.

This home is located three miles east of downtown Palm Springs and Palm Canyon Drive, the main strip that’s known for its excellent restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and nightlife. When you’re not out and about on the town, you can tee off at incredible golf courses in the area, take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (seven miles west), or go for a hike in Tahquitz Canyon (five miles southwest) or Indian Canyons (eight miles south). The famous shopping district of El Paseo is also only 13 miles southeast in downtown Palm Desert.

-Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
-The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.
