Leave your cares far behind you when you escape to this quintessential Maine cabin on the shores of Green Lake, where you’ll find everything you need to make your stay cozy and memorable. Admire the lakefront view from the sun room as the sun rises each morning, then take the provided canoe or kayak out for a paddle around one of Maine’s cleanest glacial lakes. Spend your days jumping off the private dock and your evenings playing board games, gathering around the firepit at sunset, and falling asleep to the sound of the loons.
What’s nearby:
If you’re bringing your own boat, you can set out from the public boat launch and park at your own private dock, allowing you to spend every day out on the shimmering waters of Green Lake. You’ll find every necessity 11 miles south in Ellsworth, with the charming restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops of Bar Harbor only 20 miles beyond. The Hulls Cove Visitor Center at Acadia National Park is 28 miles south, so you can easily explore the park’s stunning trails (the Precipice Trail, the Ocean Path, and the Cadillac Mountain North and South Ridge Trails among them), granite peaks, and sparkling ponds.
