Seaglass and Agate
Focused on accessibility!
We’ve added features to make your visit worry-free. A ramp along the side of the house leads right up to the wrap-around deck and into the front door for a smooth entrance. Trendy bedside grab bars, wide doorways, and a barrier-free, spa-like tile shower make your visit both accessible and relaxing. Decorated in hues of blue and green with a fun focus on sea animal artwork, the Seaglass and Agate is a family- and dog-friendly retreat.
The first floor is situated as the main gathering area with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room.
Kitchen
Situated to make sure you don’t miss out on the family fun while making meals, the kitchen is open and faces both the dining area and living room. A breakfast bar and five stools are conveniently located between the kitchen and dining room. The dining table seats up to eight and has a view into the backyard. Just outside the kitchen and dining area on the deck is a barbecue for grilling.
Living room
In the living room, you’ll find a 55-inch television, couch, and two cozy chairs for family movies or watching the game. An extra table is available for puzzles or board games. Cable television and a DVD player are provided.
In the yard
Hot dogs anyone? In the front yard, you’ll find a firepit for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. The backyard is fenced and set up for playing in the sand or yard games. Along the side of the house is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off sand.
Bedrooms
Downstairs, you’ll find a large master bedroom with an en suite bath. Watching movies or reading in bed is easy with an automatic reclining bed to find that perfect position. The en suite bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a barrier-free tile shower.
The second downstairs bedroom, or what we call the “sunroom,” is accessed through fun barn doors. This bedroom lets in natural sunlight and has great views of the nearby forested hills.
Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms. The first has an automatic reclining queen-size bed with a television. This room also has a desk area facing the nearby forested hills and a large walk-in closet.
The second upstairs bedroom has two built-in bunk beds, for a total of four twin-size beds, and a closet. Each bed has curtains that can be closed and a reading light on the wall.
Bathrooms
The house has two and a half bathrooms with the master en suite, a half-bath downstairs, and a full bath upstairs. Both downstairs baths have grab bars. The master en suite has double barrier-free sinks, a large barrier-free tile shower, a Jacuzzi tub, a toilet that is Ada compliant with a height of 19”, and a window to let in natural sunlight. The downstairs half-bath has a pocket door, a pedestal sink, and a toilet. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combo, a sink, and a toilet.
Attached garage
Attached to the house is a garage that can be used for extra parking. Inside the garage for your use are bikes and helmets, patio chairs, and yard games.
