Miller’s Dream on the Blanco River
Welcome to Miller’s Dream on the Blanco!
This beautiful family home sits on a peaceful 1.3 acres with 100+ feet of private river frontage. Stone stairs make for easy entry into the clear, cool, spring-fed water that is deep year-round, even in the hot summer months when the Blanco can dry up elsewhere.
Start your morning with breakfast on the back patio, watching the deer and taking in the view of the meadow going down to the river. Or, have coffee in a rocking chair on the long front porch, listening to the birds in the oak trees. Enjoy the day relaxing or playing in the water, head to town to shop, or explore the nearby towns. Cook and have dinner on the patio, then end your nights around the firepit under the big Hill Country sky, full of stars.
Whether you’re coming for a quick weekend getaway or staying much longer, there’s nothing like a peaceful stay at Miller’s Dream on the Blanco.

About the area
Fischer, Texas, may not be as widely known as some of the Lone Star State's larger cities, but this small community in the Texas Hill Country has its own unique charm that makes it a delightful destination for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of rustic authenticity.
The area is steeped in history, with roots that trace back to the 19th century, and it maintains a sense of timelessness that is increasingly rare. Visitors can explore the Fischer Historic District, which includes the Fischer Store, built in 1902, and the Fischer Hall, an event venue that has been hosting community gatherings for over a century. These historic sites offer a glimpse into the area's past and provide a picturesque backdrop for photography enthusiasts.
