Gather with family and friends at the beautiful Rhododendron Retreat, where you’ll have a large property that offers privacy, gorgeous woodland views, and plenty of sunshine and open sky for summer barbecues. Enjoy a recently remodeled kitchen with double ovens and stainless steel appliances, as well as a cozy wood-burning stove to curl up to in one of the main living areas. There is a pellet stove in the second living area and a new ductless mini-split for instant warmth in the winter or cooling in the summer months. Complimentary wood and pellets are provided with each stay.
Outside, the kids can spend hours playing in the backyard as the grown-ups enjoy time together on the wraparound deck. Rhododendron Retreat is a place to make unforgettable vacation memories year after year.
The quiet town of Rhododendron is less than a mile from the house. Here at the gateway to Mt. Hood, you can grab a bite to eat, stock up on groceries, and catch the Mt. Hood Express bus to Government Camp and Timberline. Numerous hiking trails and the banks of the Zigzag River are within walking distance, offering plenty to explore all year round. During the snowy winter months, you can hit the slopes of Mt. Hood at Mt. Hood Skibowl, eight miles east, Timberline Lodge, 15 miles east, or Mt. Hood Meadows, 20 miles away.
