Personal touches like rocking chairs, a front porch swing and a wood-burning fireplace help make this a special retreat. The home has an open floor plan with a great room, kitchen, dining, and master bedroom all on the main level. The views from the back porch views will take your breath away; the fire pit and hot tub will allow you to soak up the mountain air. What’s nearby: 30 minutes from Cashiers and Franklin, and 45 minutes from Asheville and Highlands. Hiking, rafting, fishing, and water and snow skiing are just minutes away. Sylva’s Historic Main Street, the Dillsboro shopping district, and The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad are just ten minutes from the lodge.
