With serene surroundings close at hand and Coos Bay proper a few miles to the north, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds. Restaurants and shops in Coos Bay and North Bend are a quick drive away, while the quaint sights of Charleston are even closer. Only a mile-and-a-half to the west, the fishing town features delicious cuisine at the High Tide Cafe and Miller’s at the Cove. From Charleston it’s another mile-and-a-half to gentle waves and fishing boats at Bastendorff Beach Park. Cape Arago State Park is seven miles from home and is full of tidepools teeming with marine life. You might even spot some sea lions! The deck lets you admire the towering trees around you, and catch a glimpse of the waters of the slough. Inside, cuddle with your loved ones on the sectional sofa (dogs are also welcome, though not on the sofas, for a small nightly pet fee!) Toss a log in the wood stove and use the free WiFi to stay entertained as you warm up. When you’re ready for dinner, the homey kitchen and dining table for six offer everything you need. End the day with your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV, or enjoy a nightcap out on the deck!
