The Cottage at Long Sands Swim, windsurf, and sunbathe all summer long at this York cottage - a family-friendly Maine escape with a private patio and an unbeatable location about a block from Long Sands Beach! The perfect retreat for a family or a group of couples, this quaint, two-story cottage situates you within walking distance of the san and waves. Take sunrise walks along the shoreline toward the Nubble Light to the north, watch the boats come and go from York Harbor two miles south, and sample the darling eateries in the York Historic District one mile west. Greet the morning sun in the remodeled living space, where you’ll find free WiFi, window air-conditioning units (in the living room and three bedrooms), and a country kitchen with double ovens to assist with breakfast. In the summer, grab the beach chairs and a towel from the washer/dryer on your way out the door, and return home for lunch on the gas grill (available seasonally), a board game on the patio, and a movie or two in the living room on the cable TV. THINGS TO KNOW The fireplace pictured is for decorative purposes only and does not function. It is not available for use. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
