You’ll be situated at the west edge of the Sierra National Forest, just six miles from Shaver Lake, where you can boat and fish, and only three miles from restaurants. Mountain biking, rock climbing, and horseback riding are other popular summer activities, and China Peak is only 23 miles north for year-round fun, including scenic chairlift rides and disc golfing in the summer, and of course, boarding and skiing in the winter. Huntington Lake is about 25 miles to the north. Bask in the beauty of wooded views from every window of this lovely home, which boasts a spacious living area with several sofas, floor-to-ceiling windows, and hand-hewn beams. You’ll also enjoy unique furnishings and natural stone flooring during your stay. At-home entertainment includes a large flatscreen cable TV, with a DVD library and player, free WiFi, a CD player, a selection of games for kids and adults, and a private pool table. The gas fireplace provides cozy warmth and the private washer/dryer provides convenience. There’s a seasonal gas grill on the large deck (not available in winter), which has two seating areas and parking for up to five vehicles.
