Located six miles south of Purgatory Resort and a little over 21 miles north of Durango, you’ll have a beautiful blend of privacy and convenience at your fingertips to make your stay stress-free.
The contemporary cabin decor is accented with charming bear characters and crafted wood pieces. Kick back on the soft leather couch while you check out what’s on cable or watch a DVD on the flatscreen HDTV. Cuddle up by the wood-burning stove with a good book or your special someone. This gem of a cabin has a TV available in each bedroom.
Step out on one of the two decks to take in the stunning sights while you sip a tasty beverage. Stream some tunes over the WiFi as you slowly slip into vacation mode.
The galley-style kitchen features everything you need to keep your group fueled up and on the go. With plenty of room for a culinary assistant and a dishwasher to take care of the cleanup, creating your culinary delight will be a piece of cake. Eat at the wooden dining room table and then sip a nightcap on the deck to watch the stars come out. Fire up the outdoor grill to try out a favorite BBQ recipe that will please the whole crew. There is a spacious loft located just above the living room.
When the snow starts to fall, make the drive to Purgatory Resort. Offering a wide variety of downhill runs that cater to all skill levels, you won’t have any trouble finding wintertime fun to delve into.
During the warmer months, you can hike the picturesque trails down to Electra Lake. Set up your rig, and make sure you pack a lunch, then set out for a day of fishing along the banks of the lake. Try your hand at catching a trophy-size trout. If not, you’ll have plenty of time to come up with a good story before you head over to Steamworks Brewing for a few pints and a mouthwatering meal.
