Come summer, you can spend your days swimming, sailing, or paddleboarding at Payette Lake (one mile north), or taking long walks through Ponderosa State Park (two miles north). In the wintertime, snowmobile adventures abound on numerous trails in the area, with downhill skiing at Brundage Mountain only ten miles north.
