The Harrison House
Charming and meticulously decorated, this Boise craftsman offers an enclosed yard and all the cozy amenities of home - plan a wine-tasting trip with close friends or a family getaway into the great outdoors in this lovely space! Built in 1923 by the son of Irish immigrants, this bright home features hardwood floors, antique decor, cheery blue and yellow accents, and three bedrooms and a bathroom all on the main floor. Snuggle up on the sofa by the gas fireplace, rally your loved ones for a family board game in the sunroom, and let the little ones unwind with movies on the TV and DVD player. Outside, the enclosed backyard is a whimsical space with a vine-covered pergola and an ornate river-rock patio. Serve lemonade or mojitos under the umbrella on the porch, or fire up the grill for the perfect outdoor barbecue.
The Harrison House is located in Boise’s historic North End, on the tree-lined Harrison Boulevard (which is on the National Register of Historic Places). The home is two miles from downtown and just blocks from Camel’s Back Park and Hyde Park. Play doubles at the Camel’s Back tennis courts or rent stand-up paddleboards from Idaho River Sports to explore Quinn’s Pond two miles away. In town, you can ride your bike along the Boise River Greenbelt or stroll with your loved ones through the Idaho Botanical Garden. Float the river at Barber Park or take the kiddos to see the tigers at Zoo Boise. In winter, Bogus Basin is less than 16 miles away, where you can enjoy a white Christmas or ring in the New Year on the ski slopes.
