This comfortable family friend home situated 5 miles from Yosemite’s South Gate will welcome you with the warmth of wood accents, large windows providing forest views, a large updated kitchen that opens into a dining and living space and thoughtfully well-spaced bedrooms including a master bedroom with en suite bath and a kids room with bunk beds. More than 1000 sq ft of decking provides ample space to relax outdoors in the summer or to build a snowman in the winter. Enjoy a hike to the river or Chilnualna Falls; visit the Wawona library and historic pioneer town, have dinner at the nearby Big Trees hotel and golf course. Being insideYosemite National Park, you have so much more to enjoy -- The Valley Floor, Glacier Point (within 45 minutes drive), Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (within 30-35 minutes drive), and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (reopening 2017). The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second room has a twin over twin and a twin over full futon bunk bed, there is a TV with Direct TV satellite and a DVD player. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own private bathroom. The living room hosts a large LED TV with Direct TV. Enjoy a BBQ on the large deck, we provide the propane. There is a ping pong on the deck for fun evening games, please note this table is available during summer only. This home has wifi and long distance calling in the continental US so you can stay connected on your trip. There is a convenience store walking distance from the home where you can pick up any last minute items you may have missed.
