Steeped in Southwest decor, our well-appointed 5,500 sq ft 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom luxurious mountain home underwent a $500K remodel that was completed in February 2019 which including brand new furnishings for the entire home. This home sits on almost 2 acres nestled at the base of Castle Rock adjacent to hundreds of acres of public land and the Elbert Creek Hiking Trail out the back door. This home offers an authentic glimpse of Colorado living with its stylish renovations, and its all-around comfort in an unmatched setting. Located less than 3 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and a 20-minute drive to Downtown Durango, this home combines ultimate convenience with a luxurious mountain getaway.
This gorgeous 5,500 square foot home leaves little to be desired. The jewels of this home are its towering floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room and master bedroom which capture the surrounding scenery, its reclaimed hardwood floors, three fireplaces, spacious dining areas, and a showroom kitchen. Natural light and spectacular views infiltrate the beautifully updated master bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs there is a separate living space, 4 twin beds and a bathroom with its own separate entrance that provides an added level of privacy making this home perfect for multiple families or groups of friends. The home features paved access to 4WD is NOT required in winter.

The home’s other highlights include a great outdoor space with a wraparound deck, a fire pit, large front porch, a hot tub, and fooseball table. There is a 2-car garage available for guest use and there is a washer and dryer on both the main floor and the ground level.
This property is pet friendly and the pet fee is $25/per day. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $150.
We are taking appropriate steps to prepare for your stay, and have asked all housekeepers to adhere to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to their regular rigorous cleaning regimen, they are following housekeeping best practices, paying close attention to high touch surfaces, and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per manufacturer’s guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
