With lofty ceilings and large picture windows that let in an abundance of natural light, this bright and comfortable home in downtown Anacortes will place you right in the midst of Washington’s coastal beauty. Follow the ramp leading up to the front door for easy, step-free access, and make yourself at home in the open, air-conditioned great room with a plush sectional sofa, a window-side dining space, and a polished kitchen with stylish cabinetry and stainless steel appliances that include an induction range. Take your dogs for a walk around town or to Cap Sante Park, come home to toss the day’s clothes in the private washer/dryer, and light the gas grill in the fully fenced yard in preparation for a homemade dinner. As for your evenings, relax while streaming your favorite shows or movies on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV in the living area.
This home is one of three individual rentals on a shared piece of property in downtown Anacortes, each with its own fenced yard. You’ll be able to easily walk a few blocks to reach local bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and shops, with Cap Sante Park and its view of the marina, March Point, Fidalgo Bay, and the Cascades only one mile southeast. The Anacortes Ferry Terminal is four miles west, allowing you to take day trips to the San Juan Islands or even Sidney, British Columbia. And one of Washington’s most spectacular state parks - Deception Pass State Park - is 11 miles south, where you can take in an incredible view from the bridge and explore more than 20 miles of saltwater and freshwater shoreline on Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands.
