Just a little bit farther at 11 miles west are Honeysuckle Beach, Hayden Lake Country Club, and other attractions in the town of Hayden Lake. You can also head 11 miles west to find the Avondale Golf Course. If you want to shop, dine, or explore public beaches and hiking trails, you can make the 19-mile journey to Coeur d’Alene with its charming city center and floating golf course. The kids will delight in a trip to Silverwood Theme Park (19 miles north) and skiers will relish in a visit to Silver Mountain Resort (55 miles east) for some of Idaho’s best snow. Additionally, you can find some very good huckleberry picking in the readily accessible mountains just to the east of the lake cabin!
