Whether you are planning to come to Savannah for a holiday weekend or for a week, our Savannah vacation homes supply you with incredible privacy and all the amenities you would expect from a hotel. Vacation rentals Savannah GA are the most memorable way to experience this historic city. You’ll feel far more at home in the comfort of our Savannah vacation rentals than in an impersonal hotel, as you have the freedom to make your own meals and even wash clothes.
One of our two bedroom Savannah vacation homes is the property on Broughton Corner Loft. This property has sleeping arrangements for six guests, so it’s a great option for a small family or group of friends. Like all of our vacation rentals Savannah GA, Broughton Corner Loft is outfitted with a range of great amenities, including a Soaking Tub, free Wi-Fi, large flat-screen TV, two full bathrooms, one king-sized bed, a Queen Bed, and air mattress, standing showers, a Foosball table, washer and dryer, dishwasher, AC and more. This property also has a convenient location near Ellis Square and like all of our Savannah vacation rentals, it puts you within easy walking distance to many sights and attractions.
The warm and inviting air upon walking into one of our Savannah vacation homes can’t be beat and this property is no exception. Glossy wood floors and nostalgic brick walls greet you upon entrance. Soft, hanging lighting provides a warm ambiance. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a glass-topped breakfast bar with three modern-style stools. Nearby is a cozy wood table for six, giving you plenty of options for meal times. Adjacent is the living room with a sofa and chairs, as well as the Foosball table and wet bar with wine chillers. The bedrooms continue the brick and wood theme and the beds are comfortably made with soft linens. One of the bathrooms features a soaking tub, standing shower, and double sinks. This property seamlessly blends both Old World style with many contemporary touches, giving guests a unique experience even among our wide variety of vacation rentals Savannah GA.
The great location of this property is another one of its perks. Sitting right on Bernard Street, you’re only a short walk away from Ellis Square and all the popular attractions of Broughton Street. There are several restaurants nearby, including the Jazz’d Tapas Bar, Alligator Soul, The Jinx and Alleycat Lounge. The City Market, American Prohibition Museum, several art galleries and even more restaurants are located slightly to the west and north. If you head east, you’ll find the Paula Deen store and her well-known restaurant, the Lady and Sons. To the south is Broughton Street, Telfair Square, the Jepson Center for the Arts and the Telfair Museums.
The many squares and parks in Savannah are popular tourist spots and part of this city’s historic charm. The two squares near Broughton Corner Loft were laid out in 1733. Ellis Square was named after the second royal governor of the then-Georgia colony. A parking garage was once built over the square, but it was taken down and the square reclaimed in 2006. Telfair Square was named after the Telfair family, whose name you can see in various historic monuments in the city. In the same area, you can find some churches designed by John B. Hogg in the Greek Revival style, including the Trinity Methodist Church and the First Bryan Baptist Church.
One of the first questions guests may have about Savannah is how to get around. Fortunately, it couldn’t be easier. Savannah is incredibly walkable and many popular sights are within walking distance from this property and others. Another option is to use the free Chatham Area Transit through the Historic District. If you prefer more organized sight seeing, there are a number of tours available, from general carriage tours, or the trolley tour, or more specific tours such as Civil War, Ghost or Architecture Tours.
