In winter, find cross-country ski trails and a tubing hill, as well as snowshoe and snowmobiling trails within a short drive. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is just 2 miles away! LIVING AREAS Rustic charm meets modern convenience in a spacious open-concept living area that features gleaming natural wood and open-beam vaulted ceilings. Get cozy by the wood-burning fireplace on a futon. The main living area opens to the expansive sunroom, which features wonderful mountain views and seating on four chairs and a daybed. KITCHEN & DINING In the kitchen, you’ll find sleek wood flooring, ample cabinet and counter space, and an eye-catching tin backsplash. A full suite of stainless steel appliances includes a dishwasher and electric range. When it’s time to eat, there’s seating for four at the dining room table, with four additional seats at the kitchen bar. BEDROOMS & BATH This two-story cabin sleeps up to eight guests between the two bedrooms, loft, a futon in the living room, and a daybed in the sunroom. The tranquil master bedroom is furnished with a comfy queen bed. There is also a queen bed in the second guest room. Two more queen beds can be found in the loft space above the sunroom. The bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREA Enjoy the fresh mountain air and magnificent views from the comfort of an expansive patio with table seating for six, four Adirondack chairs, a propane fire pit, and a gas grill as well as a picnic table in the woods. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for three vehicles in the driveway, as well as a parking space for a trailer/snowmobiles, are provided. The cabin is accessible by four stairs at the front entrance or a wheelchair-accessible ramp. The main-level bedroom and a walk-in shower with grab bars offers convenience for those with mobility issues. The cabin is not equipped with air-conditioning, however cooling is rarely required with the mild summer temperatures in the mountains. LOCATION Your cabin is situated on 1 acre of secluded land and borders Grand Lake Recreation District land, rife with trails all the way to the Colorado River. Travel half a mile to the Grand Lake Golf Course – in winter months the course features world-class groomed cross-country ski trails and a free tubing hill.
