As this home has a city imposed 30 night minimum stay allowing just one booking per month, it is preferred that all 30 nights of your stay be in the same month. This unique 1,800 sf, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath town home features panoramic ocean views and is located a few steps from one of the most beautiful coastal trails in California and is only a short 5-minute walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. This 15 mile trail links the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf and Asilomar State Beach. Every twist and turn brings another incredible view of Monterey Bay, with its abundance of wildlife and natural scenery. One of the best-kept secrets is just 5 minutes away - the Pacific Grove Golf Links with its great prices and amazing views, including the lighthouse at Pt. Pinos.
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, and a basket of local information. You will find a welcome book that tells you everything you need to know about the home and the local area. Everything has been designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind including spa amenities, spa robes, French press for coffee, reading library, picnic baskets, beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas for an outing to the beach.
Enter the enchantingly rustic home through a small courtyard with colorful flowers in mossy containers. A small gated entrance filled with orchids and flowers adds beauty to the special home you are about to enter. You will be delighted with the light-filled rooms, tastefully furnished in neutral and earth tones. The space is light and airy, with high wood ceilings and handmade terracotta tiles throughout the home.
The house has a reverse floor plan with the main living areas and the master bedroom on the second floor to take full advantage of bay views. The upper level has a large open living area, kitchen and dining room with amazing views from every window. Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon wine while watching the sun rise and set. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a gourmet multi-course dinner. Discriminating chefs will appreciate the vast selection of dishes, wine glasses, platters, cooking and bake ware, utensils and accessories provided. A large selection of cookbooks and cooking magazines are on hand to inspire you.
In the living room there is a gas burning fireplace and seating for 8. Gaze at the fire while enjoying views of the ever-changing sea beyond the French doors. You will find a large comfortable couch with plenty of pillows and a warm throw to snuggle up with as well a small table with two chairs ready for a hand of cards or other available games. You can watch a movie from our DVD library or HBO on cable TV. There are many books and magazines available for your enjoyment.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress and a small balcony overlooking the bay.
On the first floor are two quiet bedrooms and a bathroom with a spacious step down shower. The garden bedroom has King Bed that can be split into two twins with view of a small courtyard and the larger bedroom with queen bed has distant ocean views. There is also a laundry room on the first floor.
Feel free to bring or rent a kayak or bike and keep it in the garage.
