The market town of Arundel is home to some of the countries highest regarded antique shops and boasts a castle, cathedral, countless restaurants, an impressive nine pubs and a local brewery. It is also only 15 minutes from the sandy South Coast, Goodwood estate and Chichester. At 45 minutes by rail from Gatwick and just under 1.5 hours from London it is well placed for a holiday stay.
Access to the property is via a smartlock system, giving convenience to arrive whenever suits you. Instructions will be sent 48 hours prior to your stay.
Sleeping up to 6 guests, Herricks is arranged over four floors and offers three generously proportioned bedrooms – two luxurious king rooms and a twin room, ideal for friends, children, or extra guests – along with 2.5 bathrooms, making it perfectly suited to families or small groups who want their own space.
Inside, the interiors have been finished to a high standard within the last few years, blending clean modern design with thoughtful touches throughout. The well-equipped kitchen opens onto a sweet little courtyard – a lovely suntrap perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine after a day exploring.
Set in the historic and picturesque town of Arundel, Herricks puts you within easy walking distance of the castle, cathedral, independent shops, riverside walks, and Arundel’s excellent selection of pubs and restaurants – ironic, perhaps, given the building’s own pub-going past!
Whether you’re after a countryside escape, a base for exploring the South Downs, or simply a stylish spot to unwind with friends or family, Herricks offers space, character, and comfort in one of Sussex’s most charming towns.
