A Few Mountain Notes
Hearthstone is a mountain home in a rainforest setting, so nature is part of the experience. Please keep food and garbage secured, especially outdoors. Weather can change quickly near Mt. Baker, and winter guests should be prepared for snow and ice. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during winter conditions.
Dining and grocery options are limited in Glacier, especially during quieter seasons, so we recommend doing larger grocery runs in Bellingham before heading up the mountain.
