Baker, settle in by the fire, watch the trees through the windows, or enjoy a quiet movie night with the cabin lights glowing and nowhere else to be. The kitchen is fully equipped for real meals, with stainless appliances, generous prep space, a dishwasher, and everything you need for relaxed breakfasts, après-ski dinners, and slow mornings with coffee. The dining area gives everyone a comfortable place to gather without feeling crowded. Outside, the covered front porch is perfect for morning coffee, while the deck and BBQ make it easy to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The private hot tub is the showpiece after dark, especially after skiing, hiking, or exploring the Mt. Baker area. Hearthstone is especially well-suited for two couples, a small family, or guests who appreciate extra privacy. With two king bedrooms and three full bathrooms, everyone has room to spread out while still enjoying the warmth of a true mountain getaway. You’ll be close to local restaurants, coffee, trails, rivers, and year-round outdoor adventure. Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25 minutes away, making this an easy home base for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and quiet forest weekends. A Few Mountain Notes Hearthstone is a mountain home in a rainforest setting, so nature is part of the experience. Please keep food and garbage secured, especially outdoors. Weather can change quickly near Mt. Baker, and winter guests should be prepared for snow and ice. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during winter conditions. Dining and grocery options are limited in Glacier, especially during quieter seasons, so we recommend doing larger grocery runs in Bellingham before heading up the mountain. Hearthstone is best suited for peaceful mountain stays. One dog is welcome, but parties and events are not permitted. Quiet hours are appreciated so everyone can enjoy the calm of the forest.
