Water’s edge is a well loved family home, it is by no means in a modern condition but the view and location is a truly unique spot with one of the most iconic views of Henley at the finish line of Henley Regatta. Enjoy leisurely walks, boutique shops, cafes & art galleries, everything is in easy reach from this riverside side home. An electric launcher boat is available to hire during April to August at an additional charge of £300 per day subject to river conditions. The living area is the focal point of the property, the large windows give an impressive view of the tranquil river setting, sit back and watch the river flow by. The living space has three comfortable sofas, a coffee table, large TV and access to the river side terrace. A well equipped kitchen has all the essentials you need to rustle up your own creations or if you want to dine out there are lots of choice at your doorstep. The kitchen features an oven, hob, fridge, freezer and microwave are all here along with a Nespresso machine so you can enjoy a coffee on the terrace in the morning. When you’re ready for bed, there are three rooms to choose from: the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, the second bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite, and the third bedroom is a twin room. Each room is traditionally furnished with blissful crisp white linen. Additionally, there is a double sofa bed available, providing extra sleeping space for larger groups or families. Enjoy alfresco dining in the large garden with outside table and chairs. Perch at the bottom of the garden to sit and watch the glistening river. The stunning boathouse attached to the apartment is home to the electric launcher which can be rented at £300 per day, payment due before arrival as we will need prior notice to ensure the boat is charged and the key is left. Please note - the boat is only available from April - September, the rest of the year it is not available. Henley on Thames has plenty to offer, with a great range of restaurants and pubs offering fantastic food. The town has a large variety of coffee shops and boutique shops great for browsing. Within walking distance is the river and rowing museum, Kenton theatre, a cinema, mini golf and children’s playgrounds . Waitrose is only a few minutes walk from the apartment as well as a small Sainsbury’s local. There are plenty of walks along the River Thames including the Thames path which can be joined. Henley train station is within walking distance of the apartment with links to Central London & Reading to make a few places. We have local buses routes all within a few minutes walk as well as local taxi companies in the town.
