GARAGE APARTMENT (Unit C, on first floor of garage): The detached apartment across the driveway recently underwent a complete renovation by a top Austin interior designer! Enjoy a living area, kitchenette, and separate washer/dryer in this private space. The two guest bedrooms each offer a queen-sized bed and share a bathroom with walk-in shower.
BUSINESS TRAVEL FRIENDLY: This home is well suited for business travelers as it offers three separate desks located in the primary living room, primary bedroom, and in the living room of the garage apartment. The desk in the primary living room is height-adjustable and offers a monitor.
LOCATION: The home is in an ideal location - some of Austin’s finest shopping and dining options are within walking distance, including Lenoir, Polvo’s, Magnolia Café and Bouldin Creek Café. You can also find many eclectic shops and restaurants wandering down South Congress, just half a mile away. You are within 2 miles of Downtown, as well as Zilker Park, which hosts one of Austin’s most popular festivals, ACL. The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail and Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake is within a mile, where you can rent kayaks and paddleboards, enjoy amazing city views while hiking or watch the famous bats fly out from under Congress Bridge at sunset.
