Welcome to Oma’s Beech House, a spacious and inviting mountain retreat perched on Beech Mountain with stunning year-round long-range views. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, convenience, and gathering, this home is ideal for families and groups looking to enjoy the High Country.
With level entry access and ample parking for everyone, arriving is easy in every season. Inside, the home offers plenty of room to spread out, including two full kitchens, making it well-suited for multiple families or larger groups traveling together.
The main level features four bedrooms, including three king ensuites. The family suite includes a king ensuite (Bedroom 1) with a TV, ceiling fan, private deck access, and a bathroom with a tub and shower combination. Connected via a private hallway is Bedroom 2, a queen room with a TV and ceiling fan. This suite can be closed off from the rest of the home and includes access to a hallway bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 3 is a king ensuite located near the front entrance, offering a TV, ceiling fan, and a bathroom with a tub and shower combination. Bedroom 4 is another king ensuite on the main level, conveniently located near the living room. It includes a TV, ceiling fan, and a bathroom with a tub and shower combination that can either remain private or be accessed from the hallway.
The lower level provides additional sleeping and entertainment space. Bedroom 5 is a king bedroom with a TV and ceiling fan, and Bedroom 6 offers two twin beds, also with a TV and ceiling fan. These two rooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination. Downstairs, guests will also enjoy the game room, complete with shuffleboard, a large TV, and a multi-player arcade system that accommodates up to four players, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring.
Step outside to take in the breathtaking long-range views that can be enjoyed year-round, from cool summer breezes to vibrant fall foliage and peaceful winter snowfalls.
Oma’s Beech House is pet friendly, welcoming up to two dogs with an additional pet rent, so your four-legged companions can join your stay.
Guests also have the option to purchase access to the Beech Mountain Club with a Sports Level membership, providing additional recreational amenities during your visit.
Whether you are here for outdoor adventure, relaxation, or quality time together, Oma’s Beech House offers the space, layout, and setting for a memorable mountain getaway.
Also located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to private restaurants & events, professional tennis, a fitness center, pickleball courts, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested (Sports-level membership is available) and the transfer fee must be paid for in advance to the Club. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by and we can even connect you with the best local fly fishing guides. Just a few minutes’ drive down the hill is historic Banner Elk where you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.
Additional Notes:
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months, particularly on Beech Mountain. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 2 dogs for $25/night each plus taxes. Mature, well trained dogs only. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Returning guests of this home may receive a discount to the rent, not to be stacked with other discounts.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
