Welcome to Our Happy Nest!
Conveniently located just outside of downtown Boone, this cozy mountain home has something for the whole family, including your four-legged companions! Enjoy the hot tub, game tables, screened porch, fenced yard and more!
The main level living space is warm and inviting with comfortable seating, a gas log fireplace and a Smart TV. Around the corner you will find the recently updated kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to cook and enjoy meals, including morning coffee with a regular drip coffee maker and Keurig machine!
The primary bedroom is located off of the main-level living area and is equipped with a king bed, walk in closet, and attached bath. The bathroom offers a walk-in shower as well as a soaking tub and double vanity sinks with an additional make-up vanity.
Also on the main level are two other bedrooms. A Queen bedroom and a twin bedroom with a twin trundle bed. These bedrooms share a hall bathroom that has a tub and shower combo and single vanity. Additionally, there is a washer and dryer on the main level.
Off of the back porch you will find a delightful screened-in porch with a table and chairs and a gas-powered heater so you can enjoy this space during all times of the year. There is also an uncovered portion of deck for when you want to enjoy some sunshine! Here you will find the flat-top Blackstone gas grill and an easy-access door next to the kitchen.
Navigating to the lower level of the home, you will find a game space with a table for board games and other table-top games. You can also set up ping-pong in this room or the garage. The lower level also offers a queen bedroom and full, hall bathroom, and a kitchenette in the lower level den. There is a 65" Smart TV with surround-sound in the lower level living room, perfect for family movie night! You can set the ambience with the gas fireplace also! There is enough seating for everyone on the sectional that also converts to a sleeper sofa.
The lower level deck offers rocking chairs and access to the fully fenced back yard. Enjoy the relaxing hot tub after a day of hiking, skiing, or adventuring!
Our Happy Nest is located a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store (Ingles Market) along with a handful of restaurants and stores in the outskirts of Boone city limits. The home is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Boone and Appalachian State University. It is a 14 minute drive to Tweetsie Railroad, a 15 minute drive to Grandfather vineyard & Winery, an 18 minute drive to Appalachian Ski Mountain, a 25 minute drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, 30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain State Park, 17 minutes to the nearest Blue Ridge Parkway access which is famous for it’s scenic drives and overlooks with gorgeous mountain views. There are also several hiking trails in the area within a 20 minute driving radius. You won’t find a shortage of adventure when visiting our wonderful area!

- Guests may use 2-car garage, additional parking on the concrete driveway. 9 stairs to enter the main level of the home.
- This home is pet friendly for up to two (2) mature, well-trained dogs only. Pets other than dogs not permitted. Pet rent is $25 per pet per night, plus tax.
- All BRMR homes come with a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Boone, North Carolina, is a delightful mountain town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This town, which carries the name of the renowned pioneer Daniel Boone, offers a plethora of experiences for its visitors.
Nature lovers will find Boone an outdoor paradise. The surrounding mountains are laced with a variety of hiking trails that cater to all levels of hikers - from leisurely strolls to more strenuous climbs. Although not directly passing through Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway - often dubbed as "America's Favorite Drive" - is in close proximity and provides breathtaking scenic views.
