The Fireside Lodge – Hocking Hills is a guest favorite, set in a private wood at the Chalets Old Man’s Cave location. The lodge sleeps up to 18 people in 6 bedrooms over 3 levels, with 3.5 baths. The 10-person hot-tub and fire pit are there for you year-‘round and the private pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Two gathering areas offer separate big screen tvs and cozy seasonal gas fireplaces. The lower level gathering space is a game room – with a billiards table and arcade game. Light floods the great room through wrap-around windows offering views and access to the decks. Open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. Alfresco dining and comfortable seating on the deck and pool-side. Like all Chalets, this kitchen is well stocked with cooking and table ware. All bed, bath and kitchen linens are included. Two full-sized refrigerators, a washer and drier and high-speed internet, help to make the stay comfortable.
BEDS and BATHS Top floor has one king bedroom with recliner and tv, one queen bedroom, and one full bath. Main floor has one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and one full bath. (Main floor also has a half bath to serve the common areas.) Lower level has one queen bedroom with desk, one bunk room of two queen-sized bunks and a tv, and one full bath.
SITE Fireside is at the 144 acre Chalets Old Man’s Cave location on State Route 664. Also at this location, 24 other rental properties, the Chalets office, electric vehicle charging stations, SaunaPods, Resort pool and true high-speed internet service (as of Spring 2022). The closest park is Old Man’s Cave, 2 miles away, a 5-minute drive.
