Here’s your log cabin in the country, with a big front porch where you’ll take in the sunset over beautiful Hocking Hills, from the hottub, table or porch swing. At the side is a fire ring with adirondak chairs and a gas grill. Inside, exposed wood beams and wood trim feature prominently in the finishes. A massive wood-burning fireplace topped with a big Roku HD TV and DVD player dominates the living area. A picture window shares the view from the front porch. One bedroom is a queen bed the other a full size. One full bath. Kitchen has full-size appliances. The Settler is lovingly furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings. Pets are welcome here (limit two, $50+tax fee, no dobermans, pit bulls or rottweilers.)

SITE This charming single story log home sits alone, along one of Ohio’s Scenic Byways - but we still consider it to be part of the group of Lake Logan location Chalets. The closest parks are Ash Cave and Cedar Falls, both less than 5 miles or 10-minute drives. Old Man’s Cave is 5 miles, a 10-minute drive. The Chalets front desk and pool is 2 miles away.
