Scheduling will be coordinated with your property manager on arrival. *** BEACH NOTES *** Oceans 9 sits on an expansive stretch of sugar-white sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing, beach games, or simply relaxing to the sound of the waves. While the shoreline meets natural iron shore rock, there is an access point where guests can enter the water. However, pool shoes and fins are recommended when entering the water. Snorkelers and swimmers will find calm, reef-protected waters just offshore. Those seeking barefoot water entry can reach West Bay Beach in 5 minutes by car, or Cemetery Beach at the north end of Seven Mile Beach, in 10 minutes. *** OCEAN DEBRIS & SARGASSUM *** Beaches in Grand Cayman may experience floating ocean debris and sargassum. Sargassum is a harmless seaweed that has increased due to warming waters. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival. Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions. We try our best to work around Mother Nature.
