Experience A Frame Mood, located amongst the towering pines and perched above Moonridge Valley, this classic mid-century A-frame offers a front-row seat to Big Bear’s alpine beauty. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw the outdoors in, filling the space with natural light and uninterrupted mountain views that shift with the seasons - snow-dusted slopes in winter, crisp blue skies and deep green forest in summer. Mornings begin quietly here, coffee in hand as sunlight spills across the deck, while evenings settle into a slower rhythm beside the warmth of a crackling wood stove.
Inside, the cabin blends timeless A-frame architecture with a clean, modern cabin aesthetic. The main living level features an open-concept layout with soaring wood ceilings, a comfortable L-shaped sofa, and a dining table set for relaxed meals after a day outdoors. The wood-burning stove becomes the heart of the space on colder nights, while high-speed WiFi and a Roku TV allow for easy streaming when you are ready to unwind indoors. The absence of cable is intentional, encouraging connection with the setting without sacrificing comfort or convenience.
The kitchen is fully equipped for both quick breakfasts and home-cooked dinners. Stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and all essential cookware make it easy to prepare meals, whether you are grilling outside or enjoying a cozy dinner in. A dishwasher, electric kettle, drip coffee maker, and thoughtfully stocked essentials support longer stays just as comfortably as weekend escapes.
Sleeping arrangements
The cabin accommodates up to four guests across two thoughtfully arranged bedrooms. The primary sleeping area is a loft-style bedroom with a queen memory-foam mattress and peaceful views overlooking the living space and slopes beyond. Downstairs, the second bedroom features two twin beds and direct access to the full bathroom with a tub-shower combination. Fresh white linens, plush towels, and extra blankets are provided to ensure a restful night in any season.
Outdoor living
Two decks extend the living space outdoors, offering multiple spots to relax among the pines. Enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table, fire up the gas BBQ, or simply take in the quiet mountain air as the light fades across the valley. The setting feels private and calm, with a residential neighborhood atmosphere and dark, star-filled skies on clear nights.
Location and access
Located in the desirable Moonridge neighborhood, the cabin sits just minutes from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, as well as the golf course, lake, and village. The property is accessed via a sloped mountain driveway with parking for up to two vehicles. During winter months, snow chains are required per local regulations, and AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended. Three flights of stairs lead from the driveway to the covered entry.
