Check-in is in person at the apartment, where you will receive two keys for access during your stay and an overview of the apartment, an introduction to the city, activities and Lisbon. Estrela could not be a more convenient location as its is well-connected to the rest of Lisbon by public transportation, including the iconic Tram 28, which passes through the neighborhood, making it easy to explore other areas like Alfama and Baixa. To top this, you barely will see a line to hop on, unlike its starting point in Martim Moniz Square. You will have a breeze to take it! You have close proximity to the bustling areas of Santos, Principe Real and Campo de Ourique, known for their vibrant dining and shopping options all within walking distance. Public transport: - Bus stops to take you across time within 2-3 min walk from the home. - Closest tube is Rato, about a 10 min walk. - Closest train station is Santos a ~ 10-15 min walk with connection to Alcantara (loads of fun things for kids starting from 2 years), Belem, Estoril, Cascais and Cais do Sodre (downtown Lisbon). - Uber is really cheap and widely available. Most ubers carry a booster seat but they will not have an infant car seat. - We have recommendations for airport transfer with official car seats as well as car rental. At night, the Portuguese shutters ensure a peaceful, restful sleep. The home has two main entrances with easy access to Estrela. The apartment is very quiet while the areas around the apartment ~5 min walking is very lively especially at the weekends and you have plenty of options to eat out. My wife’s favourite garden square is moments from the apartment, including two playgrounds for kids to enjoy! Luxurious Amenities: We provide cotton sheets, duvets, and towels, and your final cleaning is included in your stay, so you can focus on enjoying Lisbon. Extended Stays: For guests staying more than 7 days, we offer the convenience of arranging cleaning, bed sheet changes, and fresh towels upon request. Family-Friendly: Families with children of all ages are warmly welcomed. The playroom is set up for kids with tons of toys/games to indulge! There is a couple of playgrounds within 5 min walking of the home, the main one is in Estrela gardens. Travel cot and high chair provided upon request. Late Check in Fees: Please be aware of the applicable late check-in fees—EUR 25 (7:30pm-midnight), EUR 35 (midnight-2am), EUR 50 (2am-9am).
