The capital city of Lausanne is a vibrant hub of activity, known for its hilly streets, the impressive Lausanne Cathedral, and the Olympic Museum, celebrating the city's role as the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee. The city's cultural scene is further enhanced by numerous festivals, theaters, and a dynamic nightlife.
For those seeking outdoor adventures, Vaud does not disappoint. The region is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, and winter sports enthusiasts.
