Our 5 bedroom/4 bathroom mountain home is just 19 minutes (9 miles) to historic downtown Durango and 45 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort (33 miles). Situated on 8 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just mins from downtown Durango and at an elevation of 8,200 feet, always cooler in the summer than downtown. Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience.
The secluded home features amazing outdoor spaces including a covered deck off the main living space chairs, fire table and a hammock. In addition, there is a gas firepit, large artifical turf lawn, mulitiple outdoor dining areas and seating and a Weber BBQ Grill. There is a also a trail on the property to a seasonal creek (thru early June typically) and the National Forest Trail 071 is less then a mile away offering access to Mt. Baldy and Missionary Ridge.
The home also features plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers in the driveway and the expected amenities from a luxury home like washer/dryer, fast Starlink WIFI and smart TVs (no Cable TV).

This home is NOT pet friendly! Please do not bring your pets or emotional support animals.
There is not access to the garage.
ATV’s cannot be ridden on the property and despite the large outdoor space, events are not allowed.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
