Charming 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom beach cottage offering approximately 923 sf of living space and located just five blocks up from downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Guests will enjoy being so close to restaurants, shops, galleries, concert venues and even a farmers market. Convenient access to Highway One when you want to explore up and down the central California Coast on the PCH. Living Space This light-filled home features an inviting living room with open beam ceiling, comfortable sofa with chaise, large picture windows, writer’s desk, TV, and a cozy gas log fireplace. Hardwood floors run throughout the living room, dining area, hallways, and bedrooms. The home is all one level inside. On one end of the living room is a full size dining table that seats 6+, perfect for sharing meals or playing games. Kitchen The kitchen comes equipped with a 4-burner gas range and everything you need to prepare meals at home. Off the kitchen is a small nook with a desk, as well as a full size washer and dryer and a folding table that doubles as a workspace. Half bath with pedestal sink is conveniently located nearby. Outside, enjoy California living in the fenced backyard, complete with a canopied gazebo & bistro lighting, dining table for 4, a gas BBQ grill, and two loungers. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 features open-beam ceilings, wood floors, a queen size bed and ample closet space. Bedroom #2 has a twin day bed with a pull-out twin trundle and a desk with a desk chair. Both bedrooms share a hall bathroom with shower-over-tub combination. The home also has a half bathroom located near the kitchen. Off-street parking is available in the detached carport, with an additional spot in the driveway. Sorry, this is not a pet friendly home. This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
