The Green Valley Oasis is a luxury retreat nestled into the rolling, vineyard covered hills in the banana belt region of NW Sebastopol within minutes of dozens of incredible wineries. This modern ranch house just underwent a complete renovation down to the studs, so everything is sparkling new, professionally designed, and features high-end finishes throughout. You’ll savor cooking in the large gourmet kitchen with Italian (Bertazzoni) appliances or grilling a feast on the 5-burner Napoleon gas grill while taking in views of the surrounding vineyard. This house offers 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, with a large master suite spacious bath with a meticulously tiled shower, free-standing tub, and big picture window looking out into the garden. The wall bed in the living room allows it to be utilized as a fourth bedroom. Each bedroom enjoys wonderful views of the wine country, garden, or the Mayacamas mountains and Mount Saint Helena on the horizon. The high-end furnishings are coupled with comfortable high thread count sheets and bedding to complete the sophisticated feel of this 5-star vacation property. The family room, sunken living room, and master suite each have glass sliding doors opening up on to a large patio or private deck areas, creating a truly seamless indoor/outdoor experience.
The newly professionally landscaped garden complement the beautiful interior of the property. On the large back patio, you can relax under a mature Japanese maple or enjoy al fresco dining. The huge pool was completely rebuilt and expanded in an area with abundant sunlight. Enjoy a lazy afternoon lounging under palm trees, playing a game of ping-pong, and soaking in the generous heated in-ground spa under the evening stars. Take a stroll on several garden paths featuring an extensive herb garden for your cooking pleasure, and grab a book and laze in the shaded hammock or in comfy Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard. The house is very private, situated on a 3-acre apple orchard with over 50 apple trees of different varieties, including the locally famous Gravenstein, and we welcome you to pick your own apples to your heart’s content in the late summer/early fall harvest season. This modern house is outfitted with central heating/air-conditioning, a 70” HDTV, Amazon Echo/Alexa speakers, and high speed internet --- great for remote work in a beautiful wine country setting.
While our guests may not want to leave this luxurious property, Green Valley Oasis is centrally located to all that West Sonoma has to offer. Our favorite weekend ritual is getting coffee and pastries at Pascaline (local French bakery 4 min away), then going for a leisurely (and kid-friendly!) bike ride on the West County Trail from Forestville to charming Graton with wonderful restaurants (Underwood, Willowood), art galleries, and wine tasting along the way. You can also visit the Russian River beaches with inner-tubing, canoeing, kayaking in the summer (15 min away), explore downtown Sebastopol (15 min – The Barlow is great!), neighboring small towns of Occidental (15 min) and lively Guerneville (20 min), bustling Santa Rosa (20 min), wonderful beaches of Bodega Bay (30 min), and fine dining and shopping in Healdsburg (30 min).
Please see our Property Manager site for information about our personal chefs, caterers, massages, Yoga instructors & personal trainers as well as great information about local restaurants & wineries and fun things to do in the area. All of our vacation rentals are completely stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware and consumable supplies like toilet paper; paper towels; shampoo & conditioner; bath, dish, hand and laundry soaps; various trash bags. This is an amazing property for up to 8 family and friends to gather but it is NOT a party house!
