This home is located on the Bolivar Peninsula, in the quiet area of Gilchrist.
Along with the "million dollar view" of the Gulf of Mexico, there is fantastic
fishing right from the water’s edge directly in front of the house, commonly
bringing in Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder, as well as providing some
excitement of not knowing what is on the end of the line, until it is reeled
in. This beachfront home is sure to be a favorite. The open-concept living,
dining, and kitchen are great for entertaining or just relaxing with the
family. This comfortable home has granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and
comfortable furnishings. The fireplace is for aesthetics only. Please do not
try to light. The kids are sure to love the pirate-themed bunk room, which has
a full/full bunk bed with a trundle underneath. The primary bedroom has a
queen bed and an attached bathroom with a step-in shower. The third bedroom
has a queen-size bed and beach views. There is a guest bathroom with a
shower/tub combo. You can enjoy sitting and relaxing on the deck with your
favorite beverages or book. Breathe in the ocean air and stare at the never-
ending beach views. Plan on seeing and photographing the most spectacular
sunrises and sunsets each day. There is always something different to see...
And best yet..., when you are ready for some beach time, the sand and surf are
just a few steps away. WIFI is available to keep you connected to stream your
favorite TV shows and movies. You will enter the password and login
information provided in a picture frame near the living room TV.
Even when provided, internet access, TV/cell service can be unreliable on the
Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes
cannot guarantee that these amenities will work during your stay. We cannot
offer refunds for any disruption of these services. This home might have an
outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior. Any attempt at disabling,
redirecting, or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the
guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rent. If a home has
a lift or elevator, it is not for the renter’s use unless otherwise stated in
comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house, and standard beds are made
for your arrival. Linens will be provided in the home for all sleeper sofas,
trundles, and pull-out bedding. Paper products, other than toilet tissue,
paper towels, and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below. Please bring anything
else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tabs (if applicable)
2 laundry tabs (if applicable)
1 small bottle of dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar of hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest
Don’t forget the beach towels, bug spray, and sunscreen! Once you’re booked,
log in to your guest guide for instructions on your home, beach rentals, and
things to do on the Peninsula.
All our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not
Galveston.
