On the first floor, a modern custom-made kitchen awaits, fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, and everything needed for home-style cooking. A traditional wood-fired stove adds an extra touch of alpine charm. The large dining table with bench and chairs invites guests to gather for memorable meals after a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring the beautiful Leventina Valley. Climb the internal ladder to reach the inviting attic bedroom. On the left, you’ll find a comfortable double bed; on the right, a cozy relaxation area with a sofa, satellite TV, and soft lighting—perfect for unwinding. The sofa converts into a double bed for the night. (Please note: for practical reasons it will not be prepared in advance; linens, pillows, and blankets are provided in the nearby wardrobe.) A small bathroom with toilet and sink separates the two areas. On the lower level, at street height, guests will find a second bathroom with shower and a convenient laundry room equipped with a washing machine and drying racks. This area is also ideal for storing sports gear such as bicycles and skis. Outdoor living is just as enjoyable thanks to a 7 sqm balcony and a 30 sqm private garden, where you can soak up fresh mountain air and admire the peaceful surroundings. In winter, the region transforms into a playground for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile excursions. Hiking maps are provided in the house. Sobrio is also an ideal stop along the Strada Alta della Leventina, a renowned 45 km panoramic trail that stretches from Airolo to Biasca. The Carì ski slopes are just 25 minutes away, making the chalet a great base for winter sports. During weekends, guests can order take-away pizza from the local pizzeria “Da Norma.” From Monday to Saturday, a small grocery shop in nearby Anzonico offers essential goods and local convenience items. A 20-minute drive brings you to Faido, a charming village nestled among the lush peaks of Leventina. Its small churches, wooden chalets, and elegant Art Nouveau villas reflect its past as a refined early-1900s holiday destination. Faido offers supermarkets, a renowned bakery with traditional specialties, pharmacies, a butcher, and a dairy selling local products. Nature enthusiasts will love exploring the celebrated Piumogna Waterfalls, a favorite summer spot, as well as the numerous trekking routes leading to the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno and the Carì ski area, renowned throughout winter.
