The owners became instantly enthralled with the home’s large living spaces, open floor plan, and large wrap-around sliding glass doors and windows. The home is beautifully appointed, with furnishings and fixtures from all around the world. This tropical retreat is a mid-century modern home designed after the popular architectural styles made popular in Sarasota by the Sarasota School of Architecture during the 1960s. This style blends the beauty of the tropical outdoor space with the wide-open floor plan of the home. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and trees, awake to the sound of birds singing and an inspiring sunrise over Roberts Bay. The Banyan is roughly 2 miles North from the main Siesta Key Public Beach. The beach is best reached by bike. Shell Beach, a locals beach are located around the corner from the home. Shell Beach is great for Sunbathing and/or enjoying the sunset. Q. How far away is the Siesta Key Village? A. The Siesta Key Village is roughly 1 mile from The Banyan. The best way to reach the village is either by bike or one of Siesta Key’s many free rides. Q. Are there beach supplies included at the property? A. Yes, we provide beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, toys, and a pull cart to help bring everything down to the beach
