The Long Barn, nr Huntsham

The Long Barn is a single-storey cottage set at Three Gates Farm, a converted 17th century farm offering 4-star holiday cottages. Sleeping up to six across three bedrooms, the property has one double room, one twin room and one further room with a convertible single bed that can become a twin, plus two bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer. The spacious living area has a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player and free WiFi, while oil-fired central heating keeps the cottage cosy throughout the year. All bed linen and towels are supplied, with laundry facilities also available. A sheltered patio at the rear, complete with barbecue equipment and patio furniture, overlooks the gardens and countryside beyond, making it a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning sun. Guests staying at The Long Barn also have access to shared facilities on site, including a 33 ft indoor swimming pool (operated on a rota system), sauna, fitness room, games room with table tennis and pool table, laundry room, and an enclosed pond area home to friendly ducks and chickens. Outside there are two acres of grounds with lovely countryside views, plus children’s play areas featuring swings, a slide, trapeze, seesaw and a 12 ft trampoline, along with a grassy area for outdoor games. A cot and highchair can be provided on request at no extra charge, and a selection of books, games, jigsaws, DVDs and toys is available to borrow. This single-storey cottage has no steps or stairs, making it suitable for those with restricted mobility, though it is not wheelchair accessible. Gravel parking is available within metres of the property. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge of GBP 20 per dog. At Christmas, a decorated Christmas tree is provided.
