area, farmland, and countryside Main Description The Long Barn is a
generous rural dwelling that accommodates up to five or six occupants.
It is situated within the picturesque East Devon countryside and can be
reached easily within 15 minutes by car from the M5 (J27). As a guest,
you will have access to a communal indoor swimming pool (33 ft), sauna,
fitness room, enclosed pond area with friendly ducks and chickens,
laundry room, two acres of outdoor space, and a 12 ft trampoline.
Children’s play areas are also available. The Long Barn is a
single-storey cottage located at Three Gates Farm, a converted 17th
Century farm boasting five 4-star holiday cottages in the vicinity of
Tiverton, situated near the Devon/Somerset border. It comprises three
bedrooms and two bathrooms - one with a double bed, one with twin beds,
and one with a convertible single bed that can become a twin. The
cottage features a complete kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave,
fridge and separate freezer. The spacious living area includes a flat
screen TV with freeview, DVD player and free WiFi. It is heated with
oil-fired central heating, making it cosy and warm. The sheltered patio
at the rear is perfect for breakfast in the morning sun, overlooking
the grounds and rolling countryside. Cots and highchairs can be
requested without any extra charge. Dogs are welcomed, provided that
they are well-behaved, for an additional £25 per dog per week. The
swimming pool is operated on a rota system. Spanish, French, and Greek
are spoken by the staff. The Long Barn features three bedrooms (one
double, one twin, and one single that can be converted into a twin),
two bathrooms, oil-fired central heating, and a patio leading onto the
gardens with barbecue equipment and patio furniture. Complimentary WiFi
is provided in the accommodation along with a flat screen television
equipped with Freeview and a DVD player. You will find an electric hob,
oven, and microwave, in addition to a fridge and separate freezer, as
well as a dishwasher. All bed linen and towels are supplied, along with
laundry facilities. A variety of books, games, jigsaws, DVDs, and
videos is at your disposal for your entertainment, as well as an
information pack and tourist information leaflets. A cot and highchair

Huntsham is a peaceful rural hamlet in Mid Devon, set among rolling
farmland on the edge of the Exe valley, with Exmoor National Park
within easy reach.
This is a small, quiet community of farms and cottages with a timeless
feel. The hamlet is home to Huntsham Court, a magnificent Grade I
listed Elizabethan manor house now used as a private events venue, and
the medieval Church of All Saints. There is no shop or pub in Huntsham
itself, but the charming market town of Bampton is just 2 miles to the
north, and the larger town of Tiverton is 5 miles to the south.
Nearby Shopping
Bampton (2 miles) is a pretty Devon market town with a good selection
of independent shops, a post office, a Co-op convenience store, and
several pubs. The town holds a popular weekly street market and is well
known for its annual Exmoor Pony Sale and the Devon Petite Fair.
Tiverton (5 miles) is a busy market town with a wide range of shops,
supermarkets (Tesco, Lidl, Morrisons), banks, a leisure centre, and the
historic Tiverton Pannier Market, which has been trading since 1251.
For larger retail needs, Exeter is approximately 25 miles south and
offers full city-centre shopping.
