Nuthatch, nr Huntsham

Nuthatch is a romantic, single-storey one bedroom cottage set on Three Gates Farm, a converted 17th century farmstead with five 4-star holiday cottages in the East Devon countryside, just 15 minutes from the M5 (J27). Sleeping two, it features a pretty en-suite bedroom with a four-poster bed. The open-plan kitchen is fitted with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher, while the cosy lounge area has a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and video player, a log-burning stove with a complimentary basket of logs, and free WiFi. Oil-fired central heating keeps the cottage warm throughout the year. There is a small patio for outdoor relaxing and a car park on site. Linen and towels are provided, and a cot and high chair are available on request. Guests also have use of shared laundry facilities and a selection of books, games, puzzles and DVDs to borrow. As part of Three Gates Farm, guests can enjoy a large heated indoor swimming pool (33ft, operated on a rota system), sauna, gym, children’s play areas including a 12ft trampoline and games room, an enclosed pond area with ducks and chickens, and two acres of grounds to explore. A telephone and information pack with tourist brochures are also provided. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum two) for an additional charge of GBP 25 per dog per week. The cottage is suitable for children, with a games room, toy and book library, and access to outdoor play equipment including swings, a slide, seesaw and table tennis. Please note the property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. At Christmas, a decorated tree is provided to add to the festive atmosphere. Spanish, French and Greek are spoken.
