Villa Montemar

Villa Montemar is a modern house nestled in the wonderful Mount Mapila, in Castello di Baida area. This authentic and uncontaminated spot is a few minutes’ drive from the old village of Scopello. The villa is a two-story building. You can access the inside from the living room with a modern kitchen corner, dining table, and sofa. On the ground floor, there is also a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor, there are two additional bedrooms: the master bedroom with a double bed and a large window that offers guests a breathtaking view over the valley and the sea, a further double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, and a small terrace with a mountain view. All rooms are air-conditioned and furnished in a modern and functional style. Villa Montemar is surrounded by a gorgeous Mediterranean garden featuring olive trees, prickly pears and other local plants. The villa has two covered verandas with outdoor furniture, a bbq (charcoal) area with a typical Sicilian wood oven adjacent to a large dining table under a gazebo with a beautiful sea view. On the side of the house, there is a swimming pool (8mx4m), a solarium furnished with sun beds, and an external shower. The villa is completely fenced in. The nearest public beach "Guidaloca Bay" is 6 km away. The closest supermarket is 7 km from the villa. The old village of Scopello, with its restaurants, coffee bars and small shops, is 9 km from here. Castellammare del Golfo is 9 km away. The storied Zingaro Reserve, Sicily’s first natural reserve, with its pristine mountain trails and coastline, is just beyond the town of Scopello. Villa Montemar is the ideal place for those who are looking for a relaxing stay for beach fun, hiking, and biking.
