A Great Room with a View Step inside and immediately feel the warmth of the soaring vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and the natural light pouring through large windows that perfectly frame the breathtaking mountain scenery. The great room invites you to sink into comfortable leather seating arranged around a TV and a custom stone fireplace with gas logs—ideal for cozy evenings after a day on the slopes or trails. The dining area flows effortlessly from the living space, keeping everyone connected. With a dining table for eight and four additional seats at the nearby counter, it’s perfect for big family meals, holiday spreads, or casual breakfasts before heading out for a day of exploration. A Kitchen Ready for Gathering The well-equipped kitchen is both functional and welcoming, offering granite countertops, ample cabinetry for storage, and all the basic supplies you need to prepare meals with ease. Whether you’re cooking chili after a snowy adventure or hosting a celebratory dinner, you’ll have plenty of space to prep, serve, and enjoy. Comfortable Main-Level Retreats The primary suite on the main level is a peaceful haven featuring tasteful décor, numerous large windows bathing the space in natural light, a plush king bed, and a private TV. The spacious ensuite bathroom feels like a spa escape with double vanities, a large jetted soaking tub perfect for unwinding, and a beautifully tiled custom shower. Two additional king bedrooms are also located on the main level, each with its own private TV. These rooms share a conveniently located hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination—ideal for couples traveling together. The Ultimate Game & Movie Hangout Downstairs, the expansive game room becomes the heart of fun and connection. Lounge on the plush bean bag chairs and stretch out across the couches while a favorite movie plays on the TV. Challenge friends and family to fast-paced matches at the air hockey table—where the puck glides and cheers erupt after every goal. Gather around the foosball table for friendly rivalries. Slow things down with a thoughtful match at the checker/chess table, or tap into your nostalgic side with the retro Pac-Man arcade machine—where kids discover the classics and adults compete for the high score. This open, inviting space makes it easy for everyone to find their own version of fun. Lower Level Rooms-Perfect for Families The lower level also offers two additional bedrooms that are ideal for younger guests. One room features two twin beds, while the other includes a twin-over-full bunk bed—perfect family, friends, and late-night storytelling sessions. Each bedroom has a private TV, and a shared bathroom is conveniently located between them. Bonus Loft Space Need even more room to spread out? The upper-level loft provides a seperated multi-use space with yet another TV. Whether you’re catching up on work at the desk, curling up on the queen sleeper sofa with a good book, or simply enjoying a little downtime, this flexible area also includes a convenient half bath. Outdoor Living at Its Finest Mountain Sunrise truly shines outdoors with two expansive decks designed to maximize the views. On the top deck, you’ll find ample seating and some of the best long-range mountain vistas around. Roast marshmallows over the gas fire table as the sun dips behind the peaks, grill up your favorite meals, and gather around the covered outdoor dining table for memorable evenings under the mountain sky. Just below, the lower deck sits beside a beautifully landscaped yard and offers yet another incredible perspective. Slip into the bubbling hot tub and relax as you take in the cool mountain air and sweeping views—a perfect way to end any day. With space to gather, room to retreat, and endless entertainment inside and out, Mountain Sunrise is more than a vacation home—it’s where mountain memories are made. ADDITIONAL NOTES: - This home is pet friendly, allowing up to two well trained and mature dogs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet. - Mountain Sunrise is accessed via an inclined but fully paved driveway. Due to the steep, curvy roads on Sugar Mountain, AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. Chains may also be required during and after snow/ice fall. - Garage is not available for guests. - Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations. CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. ​​​​​​​Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
